6-yard skips can hold approximately 50 large black bin bags, including rubble, furniture and soil. 8-yard skips can hold about 60 large bin bags of waste.
Both of these skips are the perfect size to fit on most driveways in Sheffield; however, please note that an 8-yard skip is the largest one that can be placed onto a public Derby road with a permit from the council.

If you have space on your driveway or other private property for the skip, then all you need to think about on the day is that our drivers have access to that spot. You do not need to be in for the delivery or collection, as long as there is access, including gates being left open.
You can also place the skip on a public road. However, this does incur an additional cost due to needing a skip permit from Derby Council. We will arrange the skip permit for you, just let us know in the order process that you plan to place the skip on a public road and we will sort the permit for you.
