What can go into your skip
If you are completing a garden clean-up that involves a lot of soil and rubble, we recommend you order a 6 yard as the biggest skip for this type of project. You can book and 8 yard but must only put a small amount of soil into it. Anything above this will have a weight limit we must stick to by law, and soil and rubble make the skips very heavy to transport.

Access and skip permit
Before booking your skip in Gloucester, you’ll have to decide where you want the skip to be placed. If you do not have private land, such as a drive or a garden for the skip, it will need to go on a public road. If this is the case, we will need to apply for a permit from Gloucestershire Council.
The council can take a few days to process this request, so please bear this in mind before booking. If you need your skip for a specific date, please contact us, and we will be able to discuss an estimated date the council will arrange this for you.
