With skip sizes starting at 4 cubic yards (perfect for most household and garden DIY projects) to 16 cubic yards, you are sure to find the perfect skip for your project. Our customer service team is available to provide any assistance before you book and during your skip hire. We may have answers to questions you have on our Skip Hire FAQ. Our skip size calculator has been built into the skip hire journey to help if you’re unsure what size skip you will need.
Skips aren’t just for builders or organisations producing an enormous amount of waste. If you’re undertaking any home improvement or DIY project that will involve more waste than your typical wheelie bin can handle, then a skip will be a significant time-saver. With a skip on your drive (or out on the road), you can get on with the job, load up the skip as you go, and we’ll take it all away when you’re done. Save yourself the multiple journeys to the tip and your car from being loaded up with waste!
All but our largest skips can fit neatly in a typical driveway or an average parking space. However, it’s important to note that if you want to place the skip on a public road, a permit must be obtained from Worcestershire County Council.
To ensure our customers get the smoothest skip hire experience, we will arrange the permit for you. Although the cost will be added to your order, we only add the amount that the council charges for these permits, which differ from council to council.
With a skip from Fast Skips, the only waste you cannot dispose of is medical or human waste. However, there are other types of waste you should not put in the skip without letting us know about in advance because we have to deal with certain types of waste with different methods.
If you plan to dispose of the following items in your hired skip, please let us know in advance so we can plan for its disposal and make you aware of any additional cost in advance. The items we need to know about can be found on our FAQ page.
