Road permits for skip hire in Worcester
A 4 yard skip, 6 yard skip and an 8 yard skip can fit well on a typical driveway or an average-sized privately owned parking space. However, it’s important to note that if you want to place the skip on a public road, a permit must be obtained from Worcestershire County Council.
We will arrange the permit from the council for you, ensuring you have an easy skip hire experience. The cost of the permit will be added to your order at the checkout after you’ve requested it to be placed on the road. Permit costs are decided by Worcestershire Council and we do not add any extra charges to this amount.
Skip Hire: What waste can you put in a skip?
With a skip from Fast Skips, the only waste you cannot dispose of is medical or human waste. However, there are other types of waste you should not put in the skip without letting us know about in advance because we have to deal with certain types of waste with different methods.
If you plan to dispose of items such as a mattress, fridge or other electrical items, please let us know in advance. We will need to charge extra for some items as they require additional recycling.
